So for a recap... December brought so much snow we didn't know what to do with it, Sammi broke her collarbone sledding on New Year's Eve and brought her skiing season to an end, my office computer crashed and I had to rebuild an entire year's worth of date, long story, don't ask! January brought more snow and we worked on the room renovations for the hotel rooms. February brought the renovations to an end. We have now completed the renovation of 52 hotel rooms. We are so happy with the outcome. You can check them out on the hotel's website at http://www.bwvistainn.com/. February also brought with it sinus infections, bronchitis, pink eye and a couple bouts of stomach flu. So, yes we are happy to see February go and March arrive. March started out with a beautiful day of 50 degrees and blue sky. Could spring really be here. Not a chance! Sunday arrived with 20 degrees and snow showers and it has been the same ever since. Yes, spring time in the Rockies!
And of course, all the while the construction on the house continues. Everything is going smoothly at this point. We are completing all the inside finish work and trim, ie tile, paint, cabinetry, carpet etc. We are waiting for the weather to warm up so we can pour the front steps, patios, color the house and put the rock up. If all goes well we should be moving in when we return from Florida at the end of the month.
Here are the latest house pictures, a few of Sammi and Dylan from their latest school dance and one from Brent's Birthday celebration. Sammi's and Dylan dance was a Hollywood theme dance. Dylan won an Oscar for best dressed.
